{"id":3296,"date":"2019-01-23T17:22:28","date_gmt":"2019-01-23T16:22:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.neway-dev.fr\/meca\/?p=3296"},"modified":"2023-12-03T11:03:04","modified_gmt":"2023-12-03T10:03:04","slug":"meyer-werft-equip-the-aidanova-with-meca-inox-valves","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.neway-dev.fr\/meca\/en\/2019\/01\/23\/meyer-werft-equip-the-aidanova-with-meca-inox-valves\/","title":{"rendered":"MEYER WERFT EQUIP THE &#8220;AIDAnova&#8221; WITH MECA INOX VALVES."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Meyer Werft, a marine cruise ship builder based in Papenburg, completed one of its most important project, the construction of the largest cruise ship ever created in Germany, the AIDAnova.<\/p>\n<p>For its conception, the ecological impact was a priority, thus the propulsion technology by LNG has been selected.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Indeed, the LNG combustion allows to generate as much energy with heavy fuels oil while reducing drastically the pollutant emission (CO2, Nitrogen Oxydes, Sulphur Oxide&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the shipowner may responds to all the requirement exisiting or future requirement related to the ECA (Emission Control Area).<\/p>\n<p>To accompany this project, MECA-INOX provided 3-way valves Divertor placed above LNG tanks.<\/p>\n<p>This system is composed of two 3-way valves appaired which permit the safe maintenance of the safety valves of the LNG tanks.<\/p>\n<p>These valves has been choosed by Meyer Werft for :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>their sealing quality at low temperatures,<\/li>\n<li>their operation reliability<\/li>\n<li>their low pressure drop<\/li>\n<li>their adaptability to the installation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meyerwerft.de\/en\/meyerwerft_de\/medien\/presseticker\/pressemitteilung_detail_30669.jsp\">the link<\/a> to acces to the Meyer Werft article.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meyer Werft, a marine cruise ship builder based in Papenburg, completed one of its most important project, the construction of the largest cruise ship ever created in Germany, the AIDAnova.
