The LNGPac contributes to reducing CO2, NOx and SOx emissions. Pioneer of the Dual-Fuel hybrid engines, W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 has chosen <strong>MECA-INOX<\/strong> to equip its LNGPac with high performance ball valves solutions: Diverter, Bunkering Station and Vapor Return.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Result of a collaboration between <strong>MECA-INOX<\/strong> and <strong>W\u00c4RTSIL\u00c4<\/strong>, these specific valves designs obtained Bureau Veritas, Lloyd\u2019s Register and DNV certifications.<\/p>\n<p>Equipped with a three-ways valve, safety valves, pressure sensors and a nitrogen flushing system, the <strong>Bunkering Station<\/strong> ensures the LNG ships tanks filling from on-land tanks and the inerting of the filling line.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Vapor Return<\/strong>, with a similar composition, enables the return of LNG vapors during the filling of LNG ship tanks and the inerting of this line.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Diverter<\/strong> is constituted by a three-way valve and an interlocking key system and secures the maintenance of LNG tank\u2019s safety valves.<\/p>\n<p>These first ferries launching mark the start of LNG marine valves deliveries and confirm MECA-INOX\u2019s will to be partner in the creation of solutions for this constraining market.<\/p>\n<p>Please, find all of our solutions in the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.neway-dev.fr\/meca\/wp-content\/themes\/glissando\/downloads\/2016_LNG_Natural_Gas_Solutions_GB.pdf\"><strong>LNG &amp; NATURAL GAS<\/strong><\/a>&#8221; brochure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On March 2016, the Canadian ship-owner Seaspan launched the first ferries equipped with the new W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 LNGPac.
